Red And White (Conscious and Sub-conscious)

Mary Magdalene kneeling in a grotto with her gaze fixed (meditation) on a rough cross made from the branches of an acacia bush. Beside her, on the ground, is an open book and a bare skull. Her hands are on her lap, but with the fingers interlaced in a prominent but far from natural manner.
[See Part 1 - "The Skull of Arcadia"]

The Acacia bush has both red and white flowers, symbolising the conscious mind & the subconscious mind, (see the card of the The High Priestess). Black is the colour of death. X marks the spot. It's the sign of the Skull & Crossbones. The treasure is buried deep in the place of the Skull. Not a exoteric place, but an esoteric place. Inside the Skull is the source of the universal mind. Not the conscious ego, (Red), not even the more humble subconscious, (White Virgin, but now blood stained by the conscious mind), but the unconscious universal mind, (The Black Virgin).

This is where the spirit comes out from the void/emptiness, the Black Madonna/Sophia/Isis, who also has other names attributed to her, including Hecate, hence the Hecatomb. She carries the sun and moon under her feet, (revelations).

Are you ready for this? The Captain Kidd maps were never meant to be read exoterically. Nor was many of the books in the OT and the Gospel stories. They are based loosely on a cast of characters who were real people, but these characters never existed in the conscious sense of how the literal texts (mans word), has portrayed them. There is only one sense in which the neophyte, (knight), must read these books, and it is not in the sense of the conscious ego.

But he turned and said to Peter, (the conscious ego), get thee behind me, Satan; thou art an offence unto me; for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.- Matthew 16:23
Hermes is Thrice Greatest

There is so much more, but i feel it would encourage the redness of the conscious ego to censor it. So, i shall therefore rest my fingers from this keyboard for now.

The Skull of Arcadia

The Shepherdess denotes the creative power used in the meditational task, which the knight (the horse of God), must learn to use without interruption from his attention seeking conscious senses.

Nail the conscious mind to the cross by removing the thoughts (the daemon) of this evil sun worshipper, (i.e. burn your books and whiten your latten/brass). The conscious mind is the tempter, who symbolically reaches his peak when the sun is at his highest, i.e. midday. Without the active conscious mind, there is no temptation. The subconscious mind is that which holds the key. The Treasure is the Unconscious Mind.

And the Blue Apples will be the fruits of a successfull endeavour, (initiation). Look at the friggin painting. Et in Arcadia Ego (its quite simple really)

The sun worshippers can keep on digging with their conscious mind. But all they'll find is empty caves, tombs and old skulls.

The clues have been left everywhere. But the conscious mind will keep on denying it. So much so, that it wouldn't suprise me if something turns up just for the sake of it. Great deception indeed, but if the monkeys would rather a banana than the truth, what the hell.

{I reply: "I whole-heartedly agree with this.  what  do people think 'synchroncity' is?" Gary continues..}

Its always been like this. The conscious minded one's tend only to see things that relate to the world of their magical conscious senses. The subconscious mind is real, but quite humble in nature, (never sensational, which is why it cannot buy or sell on its own behalf). Ask anyone who is qualified in the art of hypnosis. The conscious mind has to be 'Killed' before the subconscious mind can be heard to speak. (The resurrection). Unfortunately, when the conscious mind wakes up, the understanding of the subconscious mind is related only to how the the conscious ego can perceive it, (this imperfect mark allows it to buy and sell on behalf of its fiery beast).

Satan, (the conscious ego), is the force that prevents interaction with the subconscious, (the humble self). That is why the serpent stands between the Geminian Twins. One is the mirror image of the other. Yet it is the humbler of the two that holds the key to salvation.

The history of the 'Shepherds of Arcadia' theme can be traced back to Virgil, when he wrote about a tomb in Arcady. Also, within the inner sanctuary of the Temple of Isis, is shown Argus, the guardian of Io (both symbols of reflection), leaning on a large rock. Io is sitting on a smaller rock, looking up at Hermes, who is offering her a set of pan pipes.

When applying Hermetic thought to the work of Teniers, and the Temptation of St. Anthony, it is obvious that he is describing the process. The saint, is shown inside a stone cave, kneeling before a rough stone altar, on which rests a human skull. He is trying to read a special book (focus his mind/meditate), but his concentration is constantly being distracted by devils and demons, (conscious thoughts). Sometimes this can be portrayed as a swarm of bees flying
around the head. The Pandora myth can be quite an eye opener.

Soma is food from the Moon. I AM OS (strange ain't it!). It reflects the light of the sun so that it can be seen more clearly. No blindness caused by looking directly at the sun.

Mars is the 'mighty hammer' that is used to ram an iron nail into the conscious mind. (strange again eh!).

{references to our last names)

However, there is much more important work to be done. The reward for not being tempted by the glory of Lucifer's star is immeasurable to any banana he might wish to throw to the monkeys. Yet the MoonKey is where the dumbass must begin, should he ever wish to find truth.

As above, so below

Eating the Apple

When Adam & Eve ate fruit from the Tree of Knowledge, they became conscious beings. They knew!!. Their conscious senses tempted their subconscious minds, so that they would know what was evil.

Good and Evil thoughts only become programmed into a person, when the conscious mind has eaten from the tree of knowledge. Without knowledge there is only innocence. For instance, a newly born child cannot know what evil thoughts are, since it does not know what evil is. But the child was born innocent, (pure subconscious mind), which is good.

But when the child becomes conscious of his or her identity, (the conscious ego), the child learns evil so that he/she can then judge inwardly what it is to be good. This is a judgement that the conscious ego must make, and strangely enough, it is all relative to, (yes you guessed it), the conscious ego. Now the more powerful and authoritive this beast, the more evil it will think to know, so that it can judge the evil that it itself had manifested into its own subconscious, onto those who did not know of it before. So tell me which mind is corrupt, the innocent minded native, or the power, authority and superior identity within the mind of the invader?.

Now you are absolutely correct, when you say nobody can be perfect, It is a delusion to believe anything else. To believe that one has not participated in evil, is ignorance, since the participation of evil is the knowing of it. By simply knowing what is evil, you have the potential to manifest that evil. Whether you manifest evil in your life time or not, is besides the point. In different environmental conditions you just might, (i.e. just look at what people are capable of doing in times of war and riots). And whether you like it or not, your subconscious mind holds the key to that Truth. So when the book of life is opened, so is the subconscious. Result, satan is chained and thrown into the pit.

We must all strive to purify our thoughts. No one ever said it would be an easy challenge. But we ourselves who are aware of evil, should be aware of this also. In fact most people are, but they believe its OK to wait and be told. Holy water is the purifyer and it is poured over your head. In essence, it is not real water, as what we are led to believe. Hermetically, it is the water of the subconscious.

Souls Entering the World (The Hermaphrodite)

"Each soul and spirit prior to its entering into this world, consists of a male and female united into one being. When it descends on this earth the two parts separate and animate two different bodies. At the time of marriage, the Holy One, blessed be He, who knows all souls and spirits, unites them again as they were before, and they again constitute one body and one soul, forming as it were the right and left of one individual.... The union, however, is influenced by the deeds of the man, and by the ways in which he walks. If the man is pure, and his conduct is pleasing in the sight of God, he is united with that female part of his soul which was his component part prior to his birth." - Zohar 1:91b
"And when They are conjoined together, They appear to be only one body. "Hence we learn that the Masculine, taken alone appeareth to be only half the body, so that all the mercies are half; and thus also is it with the Feminine. "But when They are joined together, the (two together) appear to form only one whole body. And it is so. "So also here. When the Male is joined with the Female, They both constitute one complete body, and all the Universe is in a state of happiness, because all things receive blessing from Their perfect body. And this is an Arcanum." - The Kabbalah Unveiled

Divine Inspiration

Divine Inspiration

1.1 What is Inspiration?

From "Ulum Al-Quran" (Science of the Quran), by Ahmad von Denffer:

Guidance Through Revelation
We call a man to whom God in his own way communicates His guidance a prophet, or messenger. Prophets receive the word of God through revelation and then communicate it to their fellow human beings. The word "inspiration" in the above translation is derived from the Arabic root "wahy".
The Meaning of Wahy
The word "awha", from which "wahy" (revelation) is derived occurs in a number of shades of meaning in the Quran, each of them indicating the main underlying idea of inspiration directing of guiding someone. In each example below, the italicised words in the translation are forms of the root word wahy in the original text of the Quran:
  • Guidance in natural intuition "So we sent this inspiration to the mother of Moses..."(28:7)
  • Guidance in natural instinct: "and thy Lord taught the bee to build in cells in hills, on trees and in habitations"(16:68)
  • Guidance by signs: "So Zakaria came out to his people from his chamber: he told them by signs to celebrate God's praises in the morning and in the evening. (19:11)
  • Guidance from evil: "Likewise did we make for every messenger an enemy - evil ones among men and jinns, inspiring each other with flowery discourses by way of deception...."(6:112)
  • Guidance from God: "Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message)..."(8:12)
Means of Revelation
"Wahy" in the sense of Revelation is guidance from God for his creation, brought by the Prophets, who received the word from God through one of the means mentioned in the following Quranic verse:
Means of revelation are:

  • Inspiration, e.g. in a dream (see 37:102 wherre it is related that Ibrahaim receives guidance in a vision, while asleep, to sacrifice his son)
  • Speech hidden away (see 27:8, where it is related that God spoke to Musa from the fire)
  • Words (speech) sent through a special messenger from God (see 2:97, where it is related that God sent Angel Gabriel as the messenger to Muhammad to reveal His message)
"We have sent thee inspiration, as we sent it to Noah and the messengers after him: we sent inspiration to Abraham, Ishmail, Isaac, Jacob, and the tribes, to Jesus, Job, Jonah, Harun, and Solomon, and to David we gave the psalms. Of some apostles, we have already told the story, of others we have not - and to Moses God spoke direct - apostles who gave good news as well as warning, that mankind after (the coming) of the apostles should have no plea against God : for God is exalted in power and ways" (4:163-5)
-  "Ulum Al-Quran" (Science of the Quran), by Ahmad von Denffer
1.2 The Revelation of John

So.. where the hell do they get it from.. It's easy. It's all from the same place. [later  on, you'll see Nostradamus clues ya in. He keeps talking about "prophetic language"].
1/9 John, your brother and a sharer with you in the tribulation and kingdom and endurance in company with Jesus, came to be in the isle that is called Patmos for speaking about God and bearing witness to Jesus. 10 By inspiration I came to be in the Lord's Day and I heard behind me a strong voice like that of a trumpet... 11 saying:"What you see write in a scroll..."
Okay. Here we have John describing "hidden speech". Voices in running waters (that's the one that plagues me worst), the wind, traffic, bird chatter. No one IT is talking. It makees the noise in which you can hear the voice.
12 And I turned to see the voice that was speaking to me, and having turned, I saw seven golden lampstands 13 And in the middle was standing something like a son of Man, clothed in a garment that reached down to the feet, and girded at the breasts with a golden girdle.
So far, so good. We have hidden speech. We have an angellic messenger. Now, John just wasn't walking down the path and get jumped by an angel. He's a freaking mystic, like N. And a kabbalist. We soon learn that  this angel is the one tht was Jesus on earth.  He immediately identifies him as Jesus. It seems John sees what he expects to see. Not a bad thing, but that's just how these things work. It's  important that you accept, see, and not fight it.
1/14 Moreover, his head and his hair were white as white wool, and his eyes as a fiery flame; 15 and his feet were like a fine copper when glowing in a furnace; and his voice was as the sound of many waters.16 And he had in his right hand seven stars, and out of his mouth a sharp, long two edged sword was protruding, and his countenance was at the sun when it shines in it's power.
More hidden speech.
3/3 Therefore, continue mindful of how you have received and how you heard, and go on keeping it, and repent "Certainly unless you wake up, I shall come as a thief and a you will not know at all what hour I shall  come upon you."
Hmm.. The received, eh?
4/2 After these things I immediately came to be in spirit: and look! a throne was in its position in heaven, and there is one seated upon the throne.
4/5 and out of the throne there are proceeding lightnings and voices and thunders and seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, and these mean the seven spirits of god.
Man.. those poor seven spirits.. 7 circles.. that create those 6 wings of the winged creatures.. You might call it the flower of life. These spirits are talked about in the book of Enoch, as well.
10/3 and he cried out with a loud voice just as when a lion roars. And when he cried out, the seven thunders uttered their own voices. 4 Now when the 7 thunders spoke, I was at the point of writing; but I heard a voice out of heaven say:"Seal up the things the 7 thunders spoke, and do not write them down"
Oh gee, I guess we can rule out any sorta code in Rev.
10/11 and they say to me"You must again prophesy with regard to peoples and nations and tongues and many kings"
So, in other words, use that universal language, symbol.
14/2 And I heard a sound out of heaven as the sound of many waters and as the sound of loud thunder; and the sound I heard was as of singers who accompany who accompany themselves on their harps.
The universe is singing to him. Each soul has it's own song, btw.

Okay. The next and last bit is the biggest freaking clue.
19/6 And I heard what was a voice of a great crowd and as a sound of many waters and as a sound of heaven's thunders. They said "Praise Jah, you people, because Yahweh our God, the Almighty, has begun to rule as king. 7 Let us rejoice and be overjoyed and let us give him the glory because the marriage of the Lamb has arrived and his wife has prepared herself. 8 Yes, it has been granted to her to be arrayed in bright, clean, fine linen, for the fine linen stands for the righteous acts of god's people.
Now listen. In Kabbalah:

The Sefirot Tiferet- Beauty, compassion, Heaven, Sun, Harmony, King. Tiferet mediates between the God Head of the One Source, and the material universe. e.g Christ, Osiris, Buddha, The Son, and Sun, Christ Consciousness, the Great work. The Blessed Holy One.

Yesod - Foundation, experience is the vision of the machinery of the universe, Moon, Righteous One, Covenant, Phallus, cosmic pillar (nexus)

Skekhinah - Presence, Kingdom, Communion of Israel, Earth, Moon, Queen, Rainbow, Physical manifestation, "the secret of the possible", "receiving of the emanation from above", Bride of Tiferet.
"The union of Shekhinah and Tiferet constitutes the focus of religious life. Human righteous action stimulates Yesod, the righteous one, and brings about the union of the divine couple."
"According to Kabbalah, every human action here on earth affects the divine realm, either promoting or hindering the union of Shekhinah and her parnter, the holy one, blessed be he.
So, There ya have it. It's the Epiphany, and it's the appearance of the white horse, Faithful and True, the Messiah.

1.3 Muhammad's Inspiration/Revelation
"Shortly before he reached the age of 40, Muhammad began to immerse himself more frequently in solitary meditation. Retiring to the cave of Hira, he would give himself up to Divine contemplation for days. In the meanwhile he received many visions, which came to fulfillment to the very letter."
"While thus absorbed in divine worship in the Hira, the angel Gabriel appeared before him one night, in the month of Ramadan - it was the 609th year of the Christian ear" "The Holy Prophet Muhammad was charged with the regeneration of the whole of mankind, sunk into the lowest depths of degradation. Yet his strong heart did not give way for a single moment to the slightest wavering.."
"...Divine inspiration is an extraordinary phenomenon and beyond average human experience. It necessitates absolute detachment from one's enviroment. At the time of this experience, the entire corporeal frame of the recipient is possessed with divine power."
"After the first revelation in the cave Gabriel did not visit the Holy Prophet for some time. This is known as the period of "Fatrat Al-wahy", the cessation of revelation. There is a great divergence in opinion as to it's duration"
"As a matter of fact, the cessation of revelation was based on Divine providence. The pressure attendant upon it had already told upon the Prophet's physique. His body might not stand a rapid repetition. The interval, therefore, was necessarily for the sake of his physical health. Even after a lapse of time, which could in no case exceed 6 months, the revelation was accompanied with the same feeling, though not in thesame intensity"
"Sometimes they would call the Holy Prophet an idle visionary, given to poetic fancies, destined to come to naught as a matter of course. There was something wrong with his brain, they would say."
How Revelation Came to Muhammad:
"It is not fitting for a man that God should speak to him except by inspiration, or from behind a veil, or by the sending of a messenger to reveal, with God's permission, what God wills: for He is Most High, Most Wise." (42:51)
"Narrated Aisha, the mother of the faithful believers: Al-Harith bin Hisham asked Allah's apostle: 'O Allah's apostle. How is the divine inspiration revealed to you?' Allah's apostle replied, 'Sometimes it is "revealed" like the ringing of a bell, this form of inspiration is the hardest of all and then this state passes off after I have grasped what is inspired. Sometimes the Angel comes in the form of a man and talks to me and I grasp whatever he says'." [Bukhari, I, No. 2.]
1.4 Nostradamus

Here is Nostradamus, talking about his knowledge of the one true God, and Revelations in his letter to his Son:
"There are grounds to consider that events of human origin are uncertain, but all is regulated and governed by the inestimable power of God, inspiring us not by drunken ecstacy, nor by the spirit of a deep melancholic process, but by the evident influence of the stars: Only those divinely inspired can predict  particular things in a prophetic spirit" "Also consider wht the true Savior said : Give not that which is holy unto dogs, nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample under their feet and turn and rend you"
"[There I wrote] in dark and cryptic sentences the events of the future evolution of human kind, especially the most urgent ones, and the ones I perceived without scandalizing and upsetting fragile sentiments by clouding my writing in obscure but, above all, PROPHETIC language, inasmuch as : thou has hidden these things from the wise and the prudent, that is, from the powerful and kings, and hast revealed them to the small and weak." and also to the prophets, by means of the Immortal God, and his good angels, they receive the spirit of prophecy, by which they behold distant things."
"it comes to us like rays of the sun casting influences"
"a certain power and voluntary faculty came over them like a flame, inspiring them to judge human and divine inspirations alike."
"For the divine works, which are totally absolute, God accomplishes; those which are median, the angels, and the third kind, by evil"
"as for the hidden prophecies which come to one by the subtle spirit of fire, sometimes through the judgement being disturbed in contemplating the remotest of stars, while remaining alert and watchful, the pronouncements , we surprisingly take them down in writing and pronounce them"
"Because all things proceeded from the divine power of the great Eternal God, from whom all goodness proceeds"
(The Ein Sof of the Kabbalah?)
"is one who sees things remote from the natural perception of all creatures and men. And for instance it can happen that the prophet, by means of the perfect light of the prophecy manifestly appearing before him, can see things which are divine as well as human, which he can not yet understand."
"For the incomprehensible mysteries of God and their effective power belong to a dimension very remote from natural knowledge, taking immediate origin from the free will"
"For human understanding, being intellectual, cannot see hidden things unless aided by a voice coming from limbo by means ofthe slender flame showing..."
"through this, the cycles of time - the past, present, and future - become incorporated into one eternity"
(alpha and omega?)
"A hidden thing divinely manifested to the prophet by two principal means, which are contained in the understanding of the inspired one who prophesies. One comes with infusion, which clarifies the supernatural light in him who predicts by the doctrine of the stars; the other comes by means of an authentic participation with the divine eternity, by which means a prophet can judge what is given to him from his own divine spirit through God, the Creator and a natural instilling; so that what is predicted is true, and has an ethereal origin. This light and the slender flame are altogether effacacious, and of exalted origin no less than the clarity and the natural light that renders philosophers so sure of themselves which by means of the principals of the first cause they have attained to the innermost cores of the most exalted doctrines"
"How many ambiguous opinions beyond all genuine reason through Muslim dreams and also even sometimes by God the Creator, by means of fiery missives brought by his angels of fire, there come before our exterior senses, even our eyes, the events of future prediction, and that which is significant to future circumstances"
"All is predicted through divine inspiration, and by means of the angelic spirit inspiring the man who is prophecizing, rendering him anointed with prophecies, illuminating him moving him before his fantasy through divine nocturnal apparitions"
"When the time comes for the removal of ignorance, the situation will be cleared up still more.
From the epistle:
"And emptying my soul, mind and heart of all care, solicitude, and vexation, through a state of tranquility and stillness of mind and spirit.
He meditated.

Your Drop May Become a Sea {Rumi}

Every form you see has its archetype in the placeless world;
If the form perishes, no matter, since its original is everlasting
Every fair shape you have seen, every deep saying you have heard -
Be not cast down that it perished, for that is not so....
While the fountains flow, the rivers run from it.
Put grief out of your head, and keep quaffing this river water;
Do not think of the water failing, for this water is without end.
From the moment you came into the world of being
A ladder was placed before you that you might escape.
First you were mineral; later you turned to plant;
Then you became animal; how should this be a secret to you?
Afterwards you were made man, with knowledge, reason, faith....
When you have traveled on from now, you will doubtless become an angel....
Pass again from angelhood; enter that ocean,
That your drop may become a sea....
Leave aside this "Son"; say ever "One," with all your soul.

Gaze Into Your Heart {Rumi}

I looked about me to find him.
He was not on the Cross.

I went to the idol temple, to the ancient pagoda;

No trace of Him was visible there....
I bent the reins of search to the Kaaba;
He was not in that resort of old and young.
I questioned Ibn Sina [Avicenna] of His state;
He was not in Ibn Sina's range.
I gazed into my own heart.
There I saw Him.
He was nowhere else.

The Birth of the Sun (Manly P Hall)

(from The Secret Teachings of All Ages - Manly P. Hall)

For reasons which they doubtless considered sufficient, those who chronicled the life and acts of Jesus found it advisable to mctamorphose him into a solar deity. The historical Jesus was forgotten; nearly all the salient incidents recorded in the four Gospels have their correlations in the movements, phases, or functions of the heavenly bodies.

Among other allegories borrowed by Christianity from pagan intiquity is the story of the beautiful, blue-eyed Sun God, with His golden hair falling upon His shoulders, robed from head to foot in spotless white and carrying in His arms the Lamb of God, symbolic of the vernal equinox. This handsome youth is a composite of Apollo, Osiris, Orpheus, Mithras, and Bacchus, for He has certain characteristics in common with each of these pagan deities.

The philosophers of Greece and Egypt divided the life of the sun during the year into four parts; therefore they symbolized the Solar Man by four different figures. When He was born in the winter solstice, the Sun God was symbolised as a dependent infant who in some mysterious manner had managed to escape the Powers of Darkness seeking to destroy Him while He was still in the cradle of winter. The sun, being weak at this season of the year, had no golden rays (or locks of hair), but the survival of the light through the darkness of winter was symbolized by one tiny hair which alone adorned the head of the Celestial Child. (As the birth of the sun took place in Capricorn, it was often represented as being suckled by a goat.)

At the vernal equinox, the sun had grown to be a beautiful youth. His golden hair hung in ringlets on his shoulders and his light, as Schiller said, extended to all parts of infinity. At the surnmer solstice, the sun became a strong man, heavily bearded, who, in the prime of maturity, symbolized the fact that Nature at this period of the year is strongest and most fecund. At the autumnal equinox, the sun was pictured as an aged man, shuffling along with bended back and whitened locks into the oblivion of winter darkness. Thus, twelve months were assigned to the sun as the length of its life. During this period it circled the twelve signs of the zodiac in a magnificent triumphal march. When fall came, it entered, like Samson, into the house of Delilah (Virgo), where its rays were cut off and it lost its strength. In Masonry, the cruel winter months are symbolized by three murderers who sought to destroy the God of Light and Truth.

The coming of the sun was hailed with joy; the time of its departure was viewed as a period to be set aside for sorrow and unhappiness. This glorious, radiant orb of day, the true light "which lighteth every man who cometh into the world," the supreme benefactor, who raised all things from the dead, who fed the hungry multitudes, who stilled the tempest, who after dying rose again and restored all things to life-this Supreme Spirit of humanitarianism and philanthropy is known to Christendom as Christ, the Redeemer of worlds, the Only Begotten of The Father, the Word made Flesh, and the Hope of Glory.

The pagans set aside the 25th of Decemher as the birthday of the Solar Man. They rejoiced, feasted, gathered in processions, and made offerings in the temples. The darkness of winter was over and the glorious son of light was returning to the Northern Hemisphere. With his last effort the old Sun God had torn down the house of the Philistines (the Spirits of Darkness) and had cleared the way for the new sun who was born that day from the depths of the earth amidst the symbolic beasts of the lower world.

Concerning this season of celebration, anonymous Master of Arts of Balliol College, Oxford, in his scholarly treatise, Mankind Their Origin and Destiny, says: "The Romans also had their solar festival, and their games of the circus in honor of the birth of the god of day. It took place the eighth day before the kalends of January-rhat is, on December 25. Servius, in his commentary on verse 720 of the seventh book of the Aeneid, in which Virgil speaks of the new sun, says that, properly speaking, the sun is new on the 8th of the Kalends of January--that is, December 25. In the time of Leo 1. (Leo, Scrm. xxi., De NaEiv. Dom. p. 148), some of the Fathers of the Church said that 'what rendered the festival (of Christmas) venerable was less the birth of Jesus Christ than the return, and, as they expressed it, the new birth of the sun.' It was on the same day that the birth of the Invincible Sun (Natalis solis invicti), was celebrated at Rome, as can be seen in the Roman calendars, published in the reign of Constantine and of Julian (Hymn to the Sun, p. 155). This epithet 'Invicrus' is the same as the Persians gave to this same god, whom they worshipped by the name of Mithra, and whom they caused to be born in a grotto (Justin. Dial. cum Tryph. p. 305), just as he is represented as being born in a stable, under the name of Christ, by the Christians. "

Concerning the Catholic Feast of the Assumption and its parallel in astronomy, the same author adds: "At the end of eight months, when the sun-god, having increased, traverses the eighth sign, he absorbs the celestial Virgin in his fiery course, and she disappears in the midst of the luminous rays and the glory of her son. This phenomenon, which takes place every year about the middle of August, gave rise to a festival which still exists, and in which it is supposed that the mother of Christ, laying aside her earthly life, is associated with the glory of her son, and is placed at his side in the heavens. The Roman calender of Columella marks the death or disappearance of Virgo on the thirteenth day before the kalends of September. This is where the Catholics place the Feast of the Assumption, of the reunion of the Virgin to her son. This feast was formerley called the feast of the Passageof the Virgin (Beausobre, tome i. p. 350); and in the Library of the Fathers (Bibl. Patr. vol. 11. part ii. p. 212) we have an account of the Passage of the Blessed Virgin. The ancient Greeks and Romans fix the assumption of Astraea, who is also this same Virgin, on that day."

This Virgin mother, giving birth to the Sun God which Christianity has so faithfully preserved, is a reminder of the inscription concerning her Egyptian prototype, Isis, which appeared on the Temple of Sais: "The fruit which I have brought forth is the Sun." While the Virgin was associated with the moon by the early pagans, there is no doubt that they also understood her position as a constellation in the heavens, for nearly all the peoples of antiquity credit her as being the mother of the sun, and they realized that although the moon could not occupy that position, the sign of Virgo could, and did, give birth to the sun out of her side on the 25th day of December. Albertus Magnus states, "We know that the sign of the Celestial Virgin rose over the Horizon at the moment at which we fix the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. "

Among certain of the Arabian and Persian astronomers the three stars forming the sword belt of Orion were called the Magi who came to pay homage to the young Sun God. The author of Mankind-Their Origin and Destiny contributes the following additional information - "In Cancer, which had risen to the meridian at midnight, is the constellation of the Stable and of the Ass. The ancients called it Praesepe Jovis. In the north the scars of the Bear are seen, called by the Arabians Martha and Mary, and also the coffin of Lazarus. " Thus the esotericism of pagandom was embodied in Christianity, although its keys are lost. The Christian church blindly follows ancient customs, and when asked for a reason gives superficial and unsatisfactory explanations, either forgetting or ignoring the indisputable fact that each religion is based upon the Secret doctrines of its predecessor.

Jung's Dark Night of the Soul

"In 1913, at the age of thirty-eight, Jung experienced a horrible "confrontation with the unconscious". He saw visions and heard voices. He worried at times that he was "menaced by a psychosis" or was "doing a schizophrenia". He decided that it was valuable experience and, in private, he induced hallucinations or, in his words, "active imaginations". He recorded everything he felt in small journals. Jung began to transcribe his notes into a large red leather-bound book, on which he worked intermittently for sixteen years.[9] Jung left no posthumous instructions about the final disposition of what he called the "Red Book". His family eventually moved it into a bank vault in 1984. Sonu Shamdasani, a historian from London, for three years tried to persuade Jung's heirs to have it published, to which they declined every hint of inquiry. As of mid-September 2009, fewer than two dozen people had seen it."

"He differentiated between two situations in which the collective unconscious became active. In the first, it became activated through a crisis in an individual's life and the collapse of hopes and expectations. In the second, it becalne activated at times of great social, political, and religious upheaval. At such moments, the factors suppressed by the prevailing attitudes accumulate in the collective unconscious. Strongly intuitive individuals become aware of these and try to translate them into communicable ideas. If they succeeded in translating the unconscious into a communicable language, this had a redeenling effect. The contents of the unconscious had a disturbing effect. In the first situation, the collective unconscious might replace reality; which is pathological. In the second situation, the individual may feel disorientated, but the state is not pathological. This differentiation suggests that Jung viewed his own experience as falling under the second heading-namely; the activation of the collective unconscious due to the general cultural upheaval. Thus his initial fear of impending insanity in 1913 lay in his failure to realize this distinction.
On January 5, 1922, he had a conversation with his soul concerning both his vocation and Liber Novus:
[Jung]: I feel that I must speak to you. Why do you not let me sleep, as I am tired? I feel that the disturbance comes from you. What induces you to keep me awake?
[Soul]: Now is no time to sleep, but you should be awake and prepare important matters in nocturnal work The great work begins.
[Jung]: What great work?
[Soul]: The work that should now be undertaken. It is a great and difficult work There is no time to sleep, if you find no time during the day to relnain in the work
[Jung]: But I had no idea that something of this kind was taking place.
[Soul]: But you could have told by the fact that I have been disturbing your sleep for a long time: You have been too unconscious for a long time. Now you must go to a higher level of consciousness.
[Jung]: I am ready: What is it? Speak.
[Soul:] You should listen: to no longer be a Christian is easy: But what next? For more is yet to come. Everything is waiting for you. And you? You remain silent and have nothing to say: But you should speak. Why have you received the revelation? You should not hide it. You concern yourself with the form? Is the form important, when it is a matter of revelation?
[Jung]: But you are not thinking that I should publish what I have written? That would be a misfortune. And who would understand it?
[Soul:] No, listen! You should not break up a marriage, namely the marriage with me, no person should supplant me ... I want to rule alone.
[Jung]: So you want to rule? From whence do you take the right for such a presumption?
[Soul:] This right comes to me because I serve you and your calling. I could just as well say, you came first, but above all your calling comes first.
[Jung]: But what is my calling?
[Soul:] The new religion and its proclamation.
[Jung]: Oh God, how should I do this?
[Soul:] Do not be of such little faith. No one knows it as you do. There is no one who could say it as well as you could.
[Jung]: But who knows, if you are not lying?
[Soul:] Ask yourself if I am lying. I speak the truth."

The First Seal - Conquer Yourself!

It's based loosely on the number 7 (and probably fit better before people started editting):

(2/7) Let the one who has an ear hear what the spirit says to the congregations: To him that conquers I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is the paradise of god.
(2/11) He will by no means be harmed by the second death.
(2/17) I will give him a white pebble, and upon the the pebble a new name written which no one knows except the one receiving it.
(2/27) And to him that conquers and observes my deeds down to the end I will give authority over the nations, and he shall shepherd the people with an iron rod so that they will be broken to pieces like clay vessels, the same as I received from my Father, and I will give him the MORNING STAR.
(3/5) He that conquers will thus be arrayed in white outer garments and I will by no means blot out his name in the book of life but I will make acknowledgement of his name before my father and his angels.
(3/12) I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God and he will by no means go out anymore, and I will write upon him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem which descends from my god, and tht new name of mine.
(3/21) To the one that conquers I will grant to sit with me on my throne even as I conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.

...and an aspect of the esoteric game of gematria:

"Many Kabbalists view the Torah as the word of God and Hebrew as the language of creation. In this view, the alphabet and language are divine and have immense magical power. Many of the source texts of Kabbalah are commentaries on the bible, and derive their insights using a variety of devices, such as puns, anagrams, gematria, (letter manipulations) AND CROSS REFERENCES TO THE SAME WORD IN DIFFERENT CONTEXTS. The reader is presumed to be adept at playing this game, which becomes completely inaccessible in translation."

There's no real set group of rules.. it's fuzzier.  It's more a way of thinking... A combination of left and right brain..  You'll find that in most texts like this, the author will give you the "alphabet" throughout the text using the above methods...

Cleaned up, here's how the message would read:

Let the one who has an ear hear what the spirit says to the congregations:
To him that conquers I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is the paradise of god.  He will by no means be harmed by the second death. I will give him a white pebble, and upon the the pebble a new name written which no one knows except the one receiving it. And to him that conquers and observes my deeds down to the end I will give authority over the nations, and he shall shepherd the people with an iron rod so that they will be broken to pieces like clay vessels, the same as I received from my Father, and I will give him the MORNING STAR.  He that conquers will thus be arrayed in white outer garments and I will by no means blot out his name in the book of life but I will make acknowledgement of his name before my father and his angels. I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God and he will by no means go out anymore, and I will write upon him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem which descends from my god, and tht new name of mine. To the one that conquers I will grant to sit with me on my throne even as I conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.

What this actually means, however,  is another story.

Good and Evil - A State of Mind?

First, let's start at the beginning...

Brain Wave States:
Beta: 14-25hz : "normal" wakeful consciousness relating to the physical world. Typified by scattered thought patterns, distraction, rational analyticl thoughts, filters, and paradigms.
Alpha: 8-14hz : A focused state of heightened awareness with synchronized thought patterns between hemispheres. A state relating to the physical world and inner consciousness, a world in which there is no time or space.
Theta: 4-8 hz : A state of awareness associated with drems and the subconscious. A feeling of connetivity to the collective subconscious/all-that-is.

These "brainwaves" create a dynamic electromagnetic field, focused on the temporal lobe. You don't really need to know this, however.

So what is "evil"? Who and what is the Devil? What is "good"? What is God? Ever notice how close evil/devil and good/god are? The ying and yang, the god and devil, dark and light, good and evil exist in everyone. We are both divine and animal. Our soul and consciousness is divine, and the flesh animal.

The real Trinity is the intergration of mind, body and soul. The attainment of this state is known as "christ-consciousness", "god-body", "shamanism", the list goes on forever. Some symbols of this are the ying/yang, star of david (symbol of perfected man, the fire and water triangles), Thoth's symbol and others like it with the sun and moon, the Sun being the divine, and the moon being the subconscious. This is also the story of the Holy Grail (and the man who comes is a symbol for the world of this concept. Is supposed to be a paragon..).. it is the Philosopher's Stone of alchemists. The tree of life in general is a map of consciousness. The animalistic/devilish/sinful/noisy mind is the Beta thought patterns. It is hard to live in Babylon and not be infected by it. Most people get stuck here as soon as their ego develops during later childhood and never leave. I think that the whole Man vs. [take your pick] mentality has it's basis here.

Prayer is a corruption of meditation. But instead of the annihilation of "you", your ego, and the cessation of Beta patterns, people focus their thoughts on their worries and needs, and thus will never hear the voice that doesn't give a damn about their house, car, job, financial situation, etc. The "original sin" we are born with is this nature. But along with this, we are born with original virtue, or a spark of unfallen consciousness; our connection to the "Father", "Source","One", since that is where the root is.

What is "mind"? Mind is independant of space, matter, and time. If anything, it is energy patterns. The whole of creation is energy. We deal with atoms and matter, but that is just our perception of reality. We are ants trying to figure out an elephant. On the most basic level, matter is energy. Think of it as a 3D graph (like a bar graph being indicative of "values"). This atom represents this amount and pattern of energy, etc. We deal scientifically with particle and wave motions and interactions.

This is just mythology or allegory for the interaction/flow of energy. There will be only so much that we can explain with it. If you take your thumb and finger, and leave a thin slit, and look thru it, you will notice black interference lines from the waves of light. I think we will find that our known physical "laws" will be caused by something akin to this. The nature and origin of these forces and limitations will be related to the interaction of pure energy. We like to think of the material world as the true reality. It is actually a crude mask over what is really happening.

There is One energy in the entire universe. Nothing exists that is not of it. Nothing that is not part of it. Nothing within it is ever created or destroyed. It is only converted to a different form, or pattern. This is your God, All-that-is, IAM, etc. Look into complex systems/self organization to see the will of God manifesting. So what are the alternatives to living in the animal/devilish/noisy mind? Alpha and Theta are the thought patterns associated with the connection to the different levels of the "Divine".

"Below and beyond the conscious self lie vast ranges of subconscious activity, some worse than the ego and some better, some stupider and some, in certain respects, far more intelligent. At its fringes this subconscious self overlaps and merges with not-slef, with the physic medium in which all selves bathe and  through which they can directly communicate with one antoehr and with cosmic mind. And somewhere on the subconscious levels individual minds make contact energy and make contact not only merely in their own body, but also outside their own body."
"By mortifying his self-regarding impulses, by setting up a witness to his thoughts and a little sentinel to keep an eye on the movements of his heart; a man can sharpen his perceptions to the point where he becomes aware of the messages coming up from the obscure depths of the mind - messages in the form of initiative knowledge, of direct commands, of symbollic dreams and fantasies"
"Conscious union with the Father [soul of the trinity] can only be hoped for where there has been union with the Son thru works and devotion [the flesh, material world of the trinity], and union with the Spirit in the alert passivity of contemplation [Mind of the trinity]"
"If you wish to see It, have no fixed notions either for it or against it"
